Meanderings~Take8

Miley’s new song inspired is beautiful

I’m writing down my dreams, all I’d like to see

Starting with the bees, or else they’re gonna die

There won’t be no trees, or air for us to breathe

I’ll start feeling mad, but then I feel inspired

Thinking about the days coming home with dirty feet

From playing with my dad all day in the creek

He somehow has a way of knowing what to say

So when I’m feeling sad, he makes me feel inspired

We are meant for more

You’re the handle on the door

That opens up to change

I know that sounds so strange, today We are meant for more

You’re the handle on the door

That opens up to change I know that sounds so strange

‘Cause you’ve always felt so small But know you want it all

And I hope you feel inspired

Oh, I hope you feel inspired

And how can we escape all the fear and all the hate?

Is anyone watching us down here?

Death is life, it’s not a curse Reminds us of time and what it’s worth

To make the most out of it while we’re here

We are meant for more

You’re the handle on the door

That opens up to change I know it sounds so strange, today We are meant for more

There’s a lock upon the door

But we hold the key to change But how can we escape all the fear and all the hate?

Is anyone watching us down here??

and Malibu Lyrics

I never came to the beach or stood by the ocean

I never sat by the shore under the sun with my feet in the sand

But you brought me here and I’m happy that you did ‘Cause now I’m as free as birds catching the wind

I always thought I would sink, so I never swam I never went boating’, don’t get how they are floating’

And sometimes I get so scared of what I can’t understand

But here I am Next to you

The sky is more blue In Malibu

Next to you In Malibu

Next to you We watched the sun go down as we were walking

I’d spend the rest of my life just standing here talking

You would explain the current, as I just smile Hoping I just stay the same and nothing will change

And it’ll be us, just for a while

Do we even exist? That’s when I make the wish

To swim away with the fish

Is it supposed to be this hot all summer long?

I never would’ve believed you If three years ago you told me I’d be here writing this song But here I am Next to you

The sky is so blue In Malibu Next to you In Malibu

Next to you

Next to you

The sky is so blue In Malibu Next to you

We are just like the waves that flow back and forth

Sometimes I feel like I’m drowning and you’re there to save me

And I wanna thank you with all of my heart It’s a brand new start

A dream come true In Malibu

On This day June 17 201 by daughter Cynthia

So many times I wanted to call you.

So many times I wanted to thank you for being my mother

Just as many times I wanted to feel you holding my hand

Telling me how much you always loved me

I wanted to touch your face and feel the softness

I miss your laugh, the way your blue eyes twinkled mischievously when you smiled

Truly, we never know what beautiful gifts we have in our lives until they are no longer present

Miss you always Mama

July 31 1924-June 17  2004

If roses grow in heaven Lord, then pick a bunch for me. Place them in my mama and dads arms and tell them they are from me. Tell them that I love and miss them, more so everyday, and when they turn to smile, place a kiss upon their cheeks and hold them for a while…

I love and miss you mama and dad!

I watched the 1997 version of Titanic. I still like the 1953 with Robert Wagner better.

Barbara Stanwyck says to her husband Clifton Webb. Her unfaithfulness in his eyes was not an immoral act, but a breach of etiquette.

Rose DeWitt Bukater (who later became known as Rose Morgan Dawson Blake-Calvert

February 19,1895-October 1,1999 aged 104) is the heroine in Titanic and the love interest of Jack Dawson.

In the film, she is portrayed by Kate Winslet and Gloria Stuart  (Winslet played a younger Rose while Stuart played an elderly Rose). Jack Dawson and Rose DeWitt Bukater, portrayed in the movie by Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, are almost entirely fictional characters

James Cameron modeled the character of Rose after American artist Beatrice Wood, who had no connection to Titanic history.

The movie’s love story is also fiction.

I listened to Thunderstorm all night. It is still playing. I slept well but had disturbing dreams of demons and both my cats were burned badly.

They survived and the dream fades thank goodness. It was too horrid to remember.

As far as the Thunderstorm

I went to sleep thinking of walking out on a veranda on a warm evening.

The skies were getting dark and the temperature of the hot days heat had lessened.

I curled up on the porch swing with my book and comfy quilt.

The thunder rolled and the lightening lit the sky with moments of clarity ad vision.

The rain began falling.

The ground seemed to open up in thankfulness as the rain seeped down deep into the earth.

Creeks and small streams filled quickly with the rain non stopping.

They ran over their banks and became like swift rivers.

I felt safe and content curled up on the porch swing.

I was dry and warm.

You’ve seen the darkest skies I know

Let your heart run child like horses in the wild

So take my hand and home we’ll go

Feel it warm as a burning coal

Let your soul shine bright like diamonds in the sky

The featured photo of the two tracks reminds me of the poem about roads less traveled. In this case “The Rails less traveled”

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Researched a school in Frederick. East Frederick Elementary, now closed. I was the Librarian Aid, working for the Board of Education. Not an easy feat to get hired. My supervisor was Kathryn Van Tries.

I did the window displays. My dad would bring hay bales and corn stalks in the fall. So pretty with the dried fallen leaves. My favorite time of year in Maryland.

At any rate while reading Peter Rabbit to the 1st and 2nd graders, I included freshly brewed chamomile tea. I put them all in nap zone shortly after. Parents did not appreciate my doing so and I was reprimanded and later I resigned.

What instigated the search was someone posted the old unused railroad tracks in Frederick, Maryland, the one I had so many bicycle accidents trying to ride over the rails.
One day I was on the way to the school job and was a mess when I arrived. The tracks won. My bike was twisted and so was I.

The southern abandoned section of line is about 2 miles long in and around Frederick. The tracks are removed from the MD route 26 crossing (the entire road has been re-graded), but south of there they are still place. All grade crossing signals are gone and the flange ways are filled in but the tracks are there, parallel to East Street for some distance, with a portion of street running in the city of Frederick. There are some old freight spurs along there, too.

The tracks end at the corner of East Street and East Patrick Street (MD Route 144) at the southeast corner of downtown. About 1/4 mile south of that point is a “new” Frederick passenger station, as MARC (Maryland Rail Commuter) service was re-established to Frederick in 2001. This track to the station is an old B&O spur.

Topo maps show there used to be a bunch of interchange freight tracks near the corners of East Street and South Street, but these were all removed before 2001, though some of the old industries still have warehouses there.

The northern section of the abandonment runs from Taneytown to Kingsdale, then into Pennsylvania and Littlestown, Sell and into Hanover. The section of this former PRR line from Hanover to York was later operated by the Maryland & Pennsylvania (aka the “Ma & Pa”). In Hanover, a short segment of track remains to serve some warehouses. Between Hanover and Littlestown some track segments remain, but none remain in Littlestown.

RIPTIDE Lyrics

VANCE JOY

I was scared of dentists and the dark
I was scared of pretty girls and starting conversations
Oh, all my friends are turning green
You’re the magician’s assistant in their dreams

Oh, and they come unstuck

Lady, running down to the riptide
Taken away to the dark side
I wanna be your left hand man
I love you when you’re singing that song and
I got a lump in my throat because
You’re gonna sing the words wrong

There’s this movie that I think you’ll like
This guy decides to quit his job and heads to New York City
This cowboy’s running from himself
And she’s been living on the highest shelf

Oh, and they come unstuck

Lady, running down to the riptide
Taken away to the dark side
I wanna be your left hand man
I love you when you’re singing that song and
I got a lump in my throat because
You’re gonna sing the words wrong

I just wanna, I just wanna know
If you’re gonna, if you’re gonna stay
I just gotta, I just gotta know
I can’t have it, I can’t have it any other way
I swear she’s destined for the screen
Closest thing to Michelle Pfeiffer that you’ve ever seen, oh

Lady, running down to the riptide
Taken away to the dark side
I wanna be your left hand man
I love you when you’re singing that song and
I got a lump in my throat because
You’re gonna sing the words wrong

Oh lady, running down to the riptide
Taken away to the dark side
I wanna be your left hand man
I love you when you’re singing that song and
I got a lump in my throat because
You’re gonna sing the words wrong

Oh lady, running down to the riptide
Taken away to the dark side
I wanna be your left hand man
I love you when you’re singing that song and
I got a lump in my throat because
You’re gonna sing the words wrong

Relationships

Proceed with Caution

WHY DO MEN FALL OUT OF LOVE WITH YOU?

REASON 1

THE HONEYMOON PERIOD ENDS

A common complaint you hear from men who have fallen out of love is,

“Things just aren’t the same between us anymore..”

or

“My feelings have changed…”

It’s actually really ironic because the only reason they say things like this is because they get so used to how the relationship feels during the honeymoon period that they grade everything on the relationship based on that feeling.

IMHO
When someone says “conditions” it sounds to me like the opposite of unconditional. If you have survived tough times together and Now when things could be better they are with conditions instead of unconditionally.”

Reminds me of someone who was so enamored in the beginning.

Immersed in The winning Game. The ins and outs. Losing was not an option.

Now they idly set (Sense of running slowly and steadily without little input)in the bleachers. Seldom showing enthusiasm or willing participation.

Ambivalent to how the Game ends.

Astrology – A Cosmic Science

written 2011

Myths that have come down through the ages represent great truths. The ancients knew those who were illumined would know the inner meaning of the myths while other would think of them as fairy tales. In mythology, Pluto was one of the twelve great Olympian gods who dwelt on Olympus. Zeus (Jupiter) was the chief. The oldest of the brothers was Saturn. To him was given the ruler ship of the earth and all that dwelt on it. He represents the first law of manifestation, the law of limitation. We all have to pass the tests of Saturn before we are free of the unlit self, the personality. Every one of us on earth is under Saturn’s dominion as long as we are bound by the personality. The symbol shows the Moon, the unlit self, held down by the Cross, which is the symbol of earth living. In the Piscean Age this part of us had to be crucified. Not so in the Aquarian Age. The Avatar of this age will not be crucified. The personality will become the servant of the real Self, and take its proper place as a channel through which the power of the Essential Being can flow.

One of the Olympian gods was Poseidon, another name for Neptune, which rules a water sign. The three water signs are Cancer, ruled by the Moon; Scorpio, ruled by Pluto; and Pisces by Neptune. It is our belief that there is a very strong relationship between the higher aspect of Pluto, which is Minerva, and Neptune. Minerva, the higher symbol of Pluto is the symbol of spirit above the chalice, the Moon uplifted above the cross of earth manifestation. Pluto is the death of the separated self. Minerva is the regeneration and rebirth that brings us to the wisdom that is inherent in every child of earth.

Pluto, one of the brothers of the Olympian gods, was given the ruler ship of the underworld?all that was buried in the earth. It rules Scorpio, the sign of the death of the personality and the birth of the soul. Every seed must be buried in the darkness of the earth before it can break out of its shell and come up into light. All growth must begin its life in the dark. Every seed, even a human seed, needs that darkness before it is ready to reach toward the light. Pluto represents that life in the dark. Minerva represents the light that is reached when the life force in the seed breaks its shell and pushes through the earth and grows toward that light.

Pluto is a dark planet, and it is part of an inferior solar system. The vibration of the earth is speeding up, and there will be those who cannot take the increased vibrations that are bombarding the earth to raise its vibratory keynote. All the evils that have been submerged and hidden for so long are being brought to the surface to be faced, cleansed, and changed. It is the Plutonian energy at work behind the chaos and confusion that is sweeping the planet. The ancient wrongs and evils must be eliminated. There is always the darkness before the dawn. The light that lies behind the outer aspect of Pluto will reveal itself if the individual will let it through.

Every energy that challenges us has two poles that act as attracting forces. As individuals we are pulled by both of them until we find the balancing force in the third force which is the center between the two opposing pulls. Pluto represents the underworld of the unconscious. It is an extremely powerful force which has ruler ship over the instinctive forces that lie buried deep in the unknown part of ourselves. Pluto wears a helmet, symbol of invisibility. Minerva also is pictured as wearing a helmet, and she sprang full grown from the head of Zeus. (Jupiter?Zeus?is the symbol of the Super conscious self. There is a very negative side to Pluto. That side is as low as its higher aspect is high. When mob rule takes over, the negative side of this energy causes individuals to act far more viciously than any one of them would act by himself. In today’s world the Hell’s Angels and the Mafia are representative of this negative side of Pluto.

When we strike the highest vibration in our consciousness, there is an equal and opposite vibration struck in the deepest and lowest sub-basement of ourselves. The beast stirs and comes up for transmutation. This is the lower Scorpio aspect of Pluto, and shows the necessity of cleansing the swamp waters of the lower emotions. This explains why, after a spiritual retreat or a spiritual mountain-top experience, we have to come down to the valley and be plunged into earth matter to face the muck and mud in ourselves so that the light of Minerva (the insight we have gained) can dry it up. This is illustrated so well in the scriptures in the story of Moses. He had been on the mountaintop with God. Mountains are always the symbol of high peaks of spiritual consciousness. He came back to the valley and wondered what he was going to do with the wisdom he had gained. He heard the voice of God say, “Take off your shoes. The place on which you stand is holy ground.” Shoes represent the covering of the understanding. He was being told that where he was at that moment was where he must work, and where he must bring in the light he had gained. Only by using the light we have gained right where we are functioning can we move on to greater opportunities and greater accomplishments.

Astrologers had known of the existence of Pluto since earliest times. The priest-astrologers of antiquity gave Pluto ruler ship of the land of the dead, Hades, and all the wealth beneath the surface of the earth. Astrologers were so certain of Pluto’s existence before the announced discovery that there was little left to do except to study its physical characteristics and determine its place of ruler ship.

The search for the planet Pluto began when disturbances in the orbit of Neptune were recorded by astronomers. (It was when eccentricities were noticed in the orbit of Uranus that the search for Neptune began.)

The announcement of the discovery of the planet Pluto was made on March 12,1930, from the Lowell Observatory at Flagstaff, Arizona. From the very beginning its affinity with the planet Neptune was very obvious. The discovery of Pluto was the result of research begun by Dr. Percival Lowell, in 1905. The planet was first noticed on a photographic search in January 1930. Once recognized, its course was followed on numerous photographic plates until the time of the announcement, made by Clyde Tombaugh, a member of the staff at the Lowell Observatory.

Pluto’s statistics have raised more questions in scientific circles than they have answered?a Scorpio trait indeed! It is the farthest out (3.64 million miles) from the Sun, and it is the last planet added to those already known in our solar system. Even with the assistance of the most high-powered telescopes, Pluto cannot be seen with the naked eye. It appears only as a tiny dot on photographic film used in the highest powered and most advanced telescopes. In essence, only those who can respond positively to Neptune and its highly spiritual rays can hope to understand and respond rightly to the Minerva aspect of Pluto.

Pluto broke up a similarity that previously existed in mathematical proportions. With the exception of Mars (lower octave of Pluto), planets from the Sun out to Jupiter (largest planet in our system), increased in size proportionately. From Jupiter out to Neptune, they decreased in size proportionately. Pluto’s size, about half the size of our own Earth, was too small to fit the formula. The distance from the Sun also followed an almost perfect mathematical progression, until the addition of Pluto. The orbits of the other planets follow a pattern in that they are almost parallel to each other. Pluto, on the other hand, differs from them in that it is more elliptical, and is tilted the greatest number of degrees with respect to the Earth’s orbit. Pluto is the only planet which passes within the orbit of another planet. At perihelion it is closer to the Sun than Neptune is at its aphelion. Pluto does not seem to turn on its axis as do the rest of the planets. This is just one more aspect of its seeming lack of conformity to the natural laws of our solar system.

The above facts have led scientists and astrologers to believe that Pluto is not a natural planet in our solar system. They are correct. The planets beyond Saturn were given to us to speed up our earth’s evolution. The term “Prisoner” or “Captive Planet” used in some discussions of Pluto may also be correct. It is truly a dark planet. Clairvoyant investigation shows it to be a prison house for those who over eons of time have refused to take the path of evolution. The fact that at its perihelion (the closest point to the Sun in her orbit) Pluto is closer to the Sun than Neptune at its aphelion (furthest position from the Sun in its orbit) gives food for thought to the spiritually curious student. If compassion and empathy (the very essence of Neptune) are as far away from the individual as is possible, a regeneration (Pluto) is necessary. Pluto, cover-up for Minerva, goddess of Wisdom, in its highest meaning relates to Universal Consciousness. There are some who have to go down into the darkness to find her. The descent into Hell (or Hades) of Dante’s Divine Comedy gives a clue to the meaning of Pluto. There is always a descent into the darkness of the underworld of ourselves before we can ascend. At the beginning of Dante’s Divine Comedy, he finds himself in a dark forest and very dejected. Then he sees a hill illuminated by the Sun, and meets Virgil who is the symbol of human reason. Dante sets out to climb the hill, but wild beasts, representing the unconscious darkness in himself, bar the way. He must first make the pilgrimage through (not around) Hell, or the depth of his own underworld.

During the time since the discovery of Pluto, the world has experienced wars, assassinations, a resurgence of violence, and gangland type organizations who parasitically live off the labor of the common man. There were those who quickly took note of the negative use of this energy and branded Pluto malefic, dark, and destructive. This is only partially true. Because it is dual there is also positive use of the same energy. If he so chooses man can use the line of least resistance and bring himself destruction and misery. When dealing with this most powerful radiation with wisdom and reason, the Minerva aspect of Pluto is in evidence, and the end result is a big step forward for mankind.

Coinciding with the discovery of Pluto was the famous kidnapping of the Lindberg baby. Pluto was given ruler ship over kidnapping. However, only those spiritually tuned in could see the Minerva aspect at work. Up until this time, there were no federal laws that were enforced against kidnapping. Through that kidnapping, the legislature was able to get laws passed which henceforth would protect all children.

The great work of Dr. Sigmund Freud, and later that of his student, Dr. Carl Jung, opened the realm of the unconscious for investigation. Pluto’s discovery heralded a new day for man’s thinking and feeling processes. The recognition that our fears were projections of our own unconscious served as an impetus to cause people to come to terms with the hidden side of themselves.

Scorpio, ruled by Pluto, can be either saint or devil. In its negative manifestations there is utter emotional confusion and subterranean destruction. There is conflict and instinctual self-defeatism. The negative Plutonian rays can be the most violent of any planetary radiations now known to man. Growth comes through painful experiences. Its positive manifestation is symbolized by Minerva, goddess of wisdom. It unites the head and the heart. The higher side of Pluto can bring illumination and Cosmic Consciousness.

DARK NIGHT OF SOUL~Isabel Hickey

One of the principal goals of any spiritual path is to lead us to experience that the true essence of our soul is loving, peaceful, joyful and free.
As our upper chakras open we experience our true soul essence as love and light. The air and fire elements facilitate this liberating experience. This phase of our spiritual journey covers both the taste of the ecstasy of Light and the agony of the dark night of the soul. We discover what the real cause of our pain and anguish is our perceived (unconscious) separation from God.

We realize that we have to work through all the dark  thoughts, drop all alienating beliefs and release all false perceptions that keep our mind disconnected from the Divine. We become more and more content as we cultivate our inner relationship to our Divine Source and accept Maya for what it is.

We become more and more self-actualized as we learn to live our truth unflinchingly without letting outer circumstances distract us from our Divine Connection, or allowing external input to define our identity and our reality.

Working with the mental and subtle bodies is satisfying, but we notice that we cannot stay in this”enlightened” state all the time. This is when we realize that we have physical and emotional bodies
that must also align with Spirit if we are to maintain this expanded state of consciousness.

Enter the water and earth elements and the lower chakras. The good news is that the emotions are the sensory system of the soul.

The bad news is that our work has just begun.

DARK NIGHT OF THE SENSES

St. John of the Cross writes about the “dark night of the senses.”

Seva Simran Singh has observed”that almost everyone on a spiritual path goes through the ‘dark night of the senses.’ Essentially it is
when everything you are seeing, hearing and feeling starts to drive you nuts. You begin to experience that the behavior of the senses is out of sync with the intent of your soul and it becomes a battle for
which one will dominate your consciousness. You seek solace by finding sensory stimulus that supports your soul – sacred places, art, deep meditation – but then it is right back into the trenches and the battle rages on.

After a while you begin to realize that the senses have been conditioned by past lives and the impressions of this life and that what you are really battling is your own karmic tendencies which, as your soul wakes up, are no longer acceptable to you.

“We must consciously work with our emotional body to release the samskaras or scars that distract us from our true essence. Our task is to break the attachment to those tendencies that pull us away from our pure essence. We do so by patiently healing our emotional wounds and by reconfiguring our psyche to support our soul. This process can take years and perhaps is never really over.

There is however a point at which our soul essence begins to dominate our conscious attention. This is a turning point, after which the process of becoming our true selves gets deeper, richer and wonderfully satisfying. As we become more fully awake, we get more adept at rooting out old programming and releasing the hold of the past on our senses.

We are able to identify aspects of our life that are a function of outer reality and let go of sensations that have been cooped by conditioned responses. We learn to release unacceptable and confusing responses and replace them with authentic ones.

As we do so, our sensations become more and more pure expressions of our soul. We discover what it means to live and love at the level of our own truth, which is empowering and directing us from within.

FROM DARK NIGHT TO SENSORY HUMAN

“It is through meditation and sacred spaces that we get in touch with our soul and also retrain our senses experience reality through the eyes and ears and feelings of the soul.

During the dark night of the senses this contrasts acutely with the tendency to experience reality through the eyes, ears and feelings of the ego and its conditioning. Thus we are both attracted and repulsed, desire and don’t desire, like and don’t like, love and hate, and so on, as the battle to win our senses rages on.

We crave sensory stimulus that will remind us of our soul in order to escape from sensory stimulus that reminds us of our conditioning, known and unknown, personal and collective.”

When we actually experience our soul strongly enough, it begins to alter the mind so that the senses serve the soul. We no longer  experience reality through the eyes and ears and feelings of our history/conditioning/ego.

In Kundalini this is called the sensory human.

The point about the dark night of the senses is that you don’t get there without a struggle to determine who or what is going to be in command of the senses and the way in which information is interpreted or filtered. Once you are there, your sadhana keeps you there and the journey is one of seeing and feeling and hearing through a different lens, a liberated one, free of time’s weight.

“The senses are capable of taking in billions and billions of bits of information across auditory, visual and kinesthetic spectrums vastly greater that what they have been conditioned to take in through genetics (collective history), samskaras (personal past life history), vassanas (personal- this life impressions) and the associated tendencies to distort, delete and generalize information.

When we tap into the sensory human we transcend our identification with the above and begin to open up the senses to their real potential as the eyes, ear and feelings of the soul.

“Our goal is to become what Yogi Bhajan calls a sensory human. We do so by passing through both the dark night of the soul and the dark night of the senses.

We re-train our senses to align with our soul, to obey a different master and to serve a different reality.

Poetry I wrote:

Oh blessed the night of sparkling stars
That brings forth the sun’s comforting light
Blessed and cherished  sleep that renews our soul
for the day ahead~
come what may
another darkness of night to come
another daybreak
and so it continues

stars

Crikey~We Miss You

Steve Irwin

 crikey

Born: 22-Feb-1962
       Birthplace: Victoria, Australia
         Died: 4-Sep-2006

The morning of September 4th 2006 I was watching the news. It was Labor Day Holiday.

I had went to put a pot of coffee on and heard the shocking words.
The news reverberated throughout the world very quickly.

The Wildlife Warrior, our Crocodile Hunter was dead.

He died on the 4th, he was 44.

I thought how strange, those numbers.
Many believe 444 means an angel is close by

In Doreen Virtue’s book on Angel Numbers, she describes the meaning of 444.
“Thousands of angels surround you at this moment loving and supporting you. You have a very strong and clear
connection with the angelic realm, and are an Earth angel yourself. You have nothing to fear, all is well.”

In disbelief and shock, my tears began falling.

As I went about my day the airways were filled with the news.
The unbelievable news that he was gone.

The man who seemed invincible had been swimming off the coast of the Great Barrier Reef.

He swam over the gentle giant of the sea, also affectionately called the bird of the sea and suddenly without reason or
why was stung when the tail pierced his chest and lodged in his heart.

The news reported that he pulled the serrated barb out and was unconscious when brought up to his boat “The Croc1”

Terri and children were hiking in Tasmania and had not received word.

That is behind us now.

The fireside memorial held for family and closest of friends has been held at his beloved Australian Zoo, the Grand
Memorial where his favorite song “True Blue” was sung by Mr. Williamson was presented at the Crocoseum.
It was built by Steve for his feedings of his beloved DOLLS or Dinosaurs as he called them.

His daughter Bindi spoke so endearing of him, her father who she said she would miss every day and when seeing a
crocodile would forever think of him.

The day that popular television personality Steve “Crocodile Hunter” Irwin died was the day his wife, Terri, says she
lost her prince.
Terri, his beloved soul mate has spoken with Barbara Walters on 20/20.

“Soul mates are people who bring out the best in you.
They are not perfect but are always perfect for you.”

Despite the loss of her husband, Terri says she still feels blessed that she had him in her life. “I had romance like I
didn’t think existed anymore, a wonderful romance. He was passionate and determined and enthusiastic.”

“Steve changed the world.”

Terri says he changed the world by giving everyone a message.

“If you can reach out and touch and love and be with wildlife, you will forever be changed and you will want to make the world a
better place. If we do nothing we’re in trouble. And he did more than anybody. So I think we can all do something.”

“He was fun. He taught me it’s OK to play in the rain, splash in my puddle.
Allow the kids too get dirty, and spill ice cream on their pants.”

He didn’t sweat the little stuff.

He followed the big picture.

And he had fun!

Now I’m going to work really hard at having fun again.

I’m Mrs. Steve Irwin.

I’ve got a lot to live up to.”

Glass House Mountains Tourist Drive in respect and memory of Steve and all his conservation efforts has been
renamed The Steve Irwin Way.

Though it did not make any of the television specials and retrospectives, one of my favorite tributes came on a radio
phone-in show on the afternoon that Steve Irwin was killed.

A young mother recalled the day that her young son managed to perform potty duties
for the first time without any mishaps.

In celebration, she told her proud young son that he could call anyone in the world to share the good news.

“I want to call the Croc Hunter,” came the cry.

The moments, hours, days, weeks have gone by.

“flat out like a lizard drinking”

“British poet Sydney Dobell wrote this eulogy in 1854

Nature, a jealous mistress, laid him low.

He woo’d and won her; and, by love made bold,

she show’d him more than mortal man should know,

Then slew him lest her secret should be told.

And yet, those rare few still lean ever closer, hungry for a hint or a whisper nature knows them or understands them or loves them like they love her. Or she even knows they exist.

That she doesn’t is chilling or comforting, the only constant. “

Karen Bishops words helped me get through this grief.

From her post:

His departure could not have been more perfect.
He was interacting with a representative of the animal kingdom.

What we are about, always comes into our arena, as like energies always attract like energies.

This incredible creature from the sea, volunteered to assist with the soul decision of Steve Irwin to depart.

This man had a tremendous amount of heart.
He oozed it wherever he went and with all he encountered.

What a perfect alignment then, to go out through the energy of the heart.

The combination of the heart energy, the animal kingdom.

Steve Irwin created a perfect alignment for who he was in all ways.

And this was the energetic portal that he left through.
